About us
Established in 2016, SAA organizes the Amhara Community in the Greater Seattle area under
a WA state-registered non-profit structure. Seattle Amhara Association has hosted several
fundraising events and delivered the funds to help the causes in the Amhara region of Ethiopia.
Causes include rehabilitation of the Amhara’s displaced by ethnically motivated attacks, setting up
internet-based online supplementary courses, shipping medical supplies, and many others.
In addition to organizing helping hand campaigns, the Association has hosted several community forums.
